Dropoff Driver Spotlight: Chris Bird of Orlando
This month for our “Driver Spotlight” series, we’re featuring one of our spectacular Orlando drivers, Chris Bird. Keep reading to learn about why he loves his job so much and what he enjoys doing in his free time.

What does a typical day for you look like: My day starts out helping our client, McKesson with their morning runs. It’s all medical supplies, and it’s good to know I’m helping someone out in a meaningful way. Once that is done I’m busy with large orders ranging from catering to commercial items. Since I drive a van, I am able to accommodate a variety of different deliveries.
What do you love most about your job: I enjoy the environment at our client Mckesson. Since I am interacting with them on a daily basis, I feel like part of the team. I also enjoy working with my fellow drivers and the Orlando General Manager. We are a great team and genuinely enjoy each other’s company.
What’s the most interesting or unusual thing you’ve delivered: This is a tough one, but the most random thing I’ve delivered is probably a set of car keys.
What is something that most people don’t know about you: I like to fly planes and I have my private pilot license. I also really enjoy building custom scooters and RC airplanes.
