What does a typical day making deliveries for Dropoff look like for you? Well after hitting the gym, I log into the Dropoff driver app and find out who my dispatch partner is for the day. I then typically work mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. which works best for my schedule. The deliveries I make vary — sometimes I deliver food and grocery items and sometimes it’s health care and medical supplies.
What do you love most about driving for Dropoff? I love the flexibility with my time and the ability to earn a good wage. I’ve worked for different driving services before and by far Dropoff has outshined them in every way!
What has been your favorite delivery so far? My favorite delivery is the Wednesday and Friday mail pickup from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. They are always so friendly and have told me that I’m part of the family.
Tell us a story about a delivery experience that stood out most to you. Well, I try to develop positive relationships wherever I go, and I love when I go to a repeat delivery location and they know me by name, like Susie Cakes in Costa Mesa!
What’s something that most people don’t know about you? I’m a state and national record-holding, powerlifter in the masters 40-44 age group 90kg and 90+kg weight class.
