How Dropoff Works
To schedule a delivery:
- Log into your Dropoff account using the Dropoff portal
- Add in your order details (ready time, origin, destination and delivery window)
- Review and confirm your order, then select ‘Place Order’
Dropoff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you are an existing Dropoff customer, you can place an order online using the Dropoff portal or give us a call at 1-888-DROPOFF (1-888-376-7633), ext. 1.
Depending on the time of day your order is placed and mileage, we offer multiple time frames. This includes ASAP (90-min), 2-hour, and 4-hour windows.
If you need to make a change to your Dropoff order once it has been placed, first check on the status of the order online using the Dropoff portal. If the order has not yet been assigned to a courier, you can update directly. Please note, the price may change based on the updates. If the order has already been assigned, please call us at 1-888-DROPOFF (1-888-376-7633), ext. 1 or chat with us online using the Dropoff portal.
If you need to cancel your order before a courier has been assigned, you may cancel online. If your order has already been assigned, give us a call at 1-888-DROPOFF (1-888-376-7633), ext. 1 or chat with us online. Additional charges may apply.

Yes. Depending on your business needs, you can select from a number of order options.
ASAP: Deliveries will typically be completed within a 90-minute window, however, timing will be dependent on distance and time of day.
2-Hour: Deliveries will be completed within 2 hours of your Ready Time selected. This option is typically available when scheduled by 3:00 pm on the day of delivery.
4-Hour: Deliveries will be completed within 4 hours of your Ready Time selected. This option is typically available when scheduled by 1:00 pm on the day of delivery.
After Hours: Additional after-hours rates apply to deliveries with Ready Times after 5:00 pm through 7:59 am weekdays, and all day on weekends.
Holidays: Holiday rates apply on nationally-recognized holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas day.
This is the time your order is ready for pick up. Your courier will arrive within your service window to pick up and deliver your order. Our goal is to have your order delivered no later than the end of your service type window. Additional charges do apply if the courier arrives and your order is not ready within 5 minutes of your ready time.
Deliveries can be scheduled up to 90 days in advance.
Yes. We offer an easy-to-use API that seamlessly integrates into your online sales platform. When your customers place an online order with your company and choose "Same Day Delivery", your system will immediately connect to our system to create an order.
Dropoff picks up and drops off within a window of time. Due to many factors outside of our control, we cannot guarantee a specific pick up time. Exceptions can be made with recurring orders and routes. If you have any questions, please call us at 1-888-DROPOFF (1-888-376-7633), ext. 1.
Yes. Dropoff can augment your fleet, replace your fleet, or provide seasonal help during your busy seasons. We are here to help.
Yes. If you have specific requirements for your items, you can include them when you place your order. We offer temperature-control for sensitive items, such as pharma products, laboratory specimens, foods and beverages, and botanicals.
When we set up your account, we can identify the requirements we need our couriers to take to complete your delivery (e.g, photo at delivery, signature at delivery, barcode scanning). You can also receive confirmations for order placement, pick up and delivery via email and SMS along with tracking your order on the Dropoff portal.
The Dropoff portal enables you to track your deliveries in real-time on a live map once your delivery is submitted and accepted by the courier. On the portal, you can click ‘Track Order’ to view the applicable order you are looking for or you can access the portal from a link on the email confirmations.
You can track your orders on a live map in real-time from the moment your order is placed thru delivery. When you are placing your order, the portal will add your email address to receive a notification when the order has been delivered. If you wish to add more recipients to receive the confirmation, you can add them at the end of the order placement process.
Yes. Your items should be packaged and ready for delivery by the time your Driver arrives. Please secure all items properly, including fragile items that should be protected from damage with shock-absorbing packing materials. The Driver, at their discretion, may refuse to pick up items if they are not properly packaged.
We thoroughly screen all of our couriers with the most exhaustive federal and local criminal background checks available, as well as DMV driving history reports. Only those that pass our stringent criteria become couriers and we continually monitor our client ratings and reviews, as well as evaluate their performance using objective data. In addition, our couriers are HIPAA-compliant, carry four levels of insurance for added protection, and wear Dropoff issued polo shirts.
We deliver items for Healthcare, Retail, Industrial, Business Services, and Food & Grocery industries. As long as your items are not listed in our "Restrictions, Policies, and Additional Fees" section below, we can deliver it. When you place an order on the Dropoff portal, the order total will be displayed for full transparency.
For prospective clients, please fill out our Sales Form or call 1-888-DROPOFF (1-888-376-7633), ext 1, for a customized price estimate. Our sales team is available Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm central time.
For existing clients, log into your account via the Dropoff portal and put in your order details including ready time, origin, destination and delivery window. An order total will be displayed. You can then determine if you wish to place the order. If you wish to proceed, then select ‘Place Order’.
The order total will remain the same as when you placed the order, unless a change was made to the order. If you change your order prior to courier assignment, the price will be updated to reflect. If there is a delay in your package being available to either pick up or deliver, a wait time fee may be assessed.
If your order will not fit in a normal passenger sedan, if vans are available in the specific market, there will be a van order type available for you to select during the order placement process. A $30 van charge will be added to your order upon order placement.

There is no minimum amount of deliveries required per month. Please contact Customer Care at 1-888-DROPOFF (1-888-376-7633), ext 1, to inquire further about our service.
Log in to your account on the Dropoff portal. Under quick search, you can select the last 10, 50 or 100 to view orders or you can put in specific criteria in Tracking Options to search for the orders you are interested in. Once you locate an order, you can click on the order to see the delivery in real-time or details of completed deliveries.
Dropoff can bill daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. When your account is set up, the team will review payment options and invoice cycles available to you. Invoices for your account are accessible directly on the Dropoff portal. In addition, you have the option to pay via credit card for each order as you place them or for your invoices directly on the Dropoff portal.
We do not offer third-party billing at this time.

We currently have the Dropoff portal only. We do not have a mobile app available at this time.
We do have a standard API to enable order placements and updates. Please contact your Dropoff Account or Sales Representative or 1-888-DROPOFF for more information about our API.

Restrictions, Policies, and Additional Fees
Yes. To ensure all of our customers receive the on-time service they expect, we charge $0.50 (USD) per minute the Courier must wait past the initial Ready Time. We do offer a 5-minute grace period before we begin charging.
Additionally, if your package is not prepared and ready for pick up within 5 minutes of your courier arriving or the quoted Pick Up ETA (whichever is later), your delivery may need to be rescheduled at the courier's sole discretion. The courier may choose to leave if your order is not ready upon arrival within your delivery window.

We can accommodate packages of many sizes and weights. For every Dropoff delivery, the first 40 pounds is already included in your price. For packages more than 40 pounds, we charge an extra $0.12 (USD) per pound over 40 pounds.
If your order requires a larger vehicle, a $30 fee will be applied.
The following items are restricted and may not be picked up or delivered by Dropoff:
- Tobacco products
- Flammable, dangerous or hazardous materials (except dry ice)
- Open beverage containers of any kind
- Under-secured, fragile, or rare items
- Human corpses and/or cremated remains
- Used hypodermic needles, syringes, or medical waste (Sharps)
- Packages that require us to obtain a federal, state, or local license for transportation
- Packages that may cause damage or delay to equipment, personnel, or other packages
- Gaming devices (such as lottery tickets) where prohibited by federal, state, or local laws
- Packages whose carriage is prohibited by law, statute, or regulation of the state in which the package may travel
- Stolen goods
- Any items which you do not have the right, standing, or permission to ship

We are happy to accept food packed with dry ice or cold packs, as long as it is packaged safely and completely sealed, with no leakage whatsoever.
We can deliver alcohol as long as it does not cross state lines or dry counties and is in a closed container.Both person ordering and person receiving must be over 21 yrs of age and have a valid identification to be shown to the driver. A signature will be required upon delivery. Alcoholic beverages may not be left at the door.
Dropoff cannot accept COD delivery service. Our couriers do not carry cash and cannot pay out of pocket for the purchase of items to be delivered.
