The idea for Dropoff was born of real world frustration when Sean had a lackluster experience with a local courier. After having to call to confirm that his time-sensitive and confidential package was delivered, Sean was surprised to find that very few couriers provided delivery confirmations and virtually none offered real-time package tracking. Convinced there was a better way to do same-day business deliveries, Sean gathered former colleague Christian and together, with their combined experiences and backgrounds, they set out to create a new, “21st century” courier company.
Sean has spent his career driving growth and innovation for leading technology and media companies. Prior to Dropoff, Sean co-founded GameFly, Inc., which pioneered the video game rental subscription business and was backed by Sequoia Capital and Tenaya Capital. There he led marketing, business development, mobile strategy, digital distribution, ad sales, content and M&A efforts. He was previously an Online Producer at The Walt Disney Company and a New Media Agent at Creative Artists Agency. Sean attended
Christian’s focus is on delivering Dropoff's growth objectives while ensuring a maintainable and stable technology platform. Christian is driven by the potential of technology and the belief that, at the crossroads of passion, intellect, and creativity, lies the promise to solve everyday problems in ways that are both user-friendly and scalable. Formerly, Christian served as Director of Cloud and Alternative Platform Development at GameFly, Director of Engineering at Movies.com and Director of Data Systems at Fandango. Christian has a proven track record of delivering superior database and search solutions, mobile products, and web applications. Christian is a proud father and husband who, in his free time, enjoys cycling, playing tennis, and teaching his children to swim and play soccer.
Stewart is responsible for leading Dropoff’s efforts to deliver exceptional service to our customers. Before Dropoff, Stewart led Client Services at TurnKey Vacation Rentals, helping to establish TurnKey as a top 5 vacation rentals property management company in the US. He also served as Director of Commercial Relations and Client Partner at social marketing pioneer Bazaarvoice, where he led client success and renewals management efforts for North America accounts. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Journalism-Advertising degree from the University of Missouri, and MA/MBA degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a husband and proud father of two
Zaz is responsible for Dropoff’s M&A practice and building long-lasting strategic partnerships between Dropoff and Fortune 500 companies. She has spent her career helping startups build growth-generating relationships with enterprises - from new product integrations to new sales channels. Prior to Dropoff, Zaz spent three years at Spredfast (formerly Mass Relevance), building their business development practice and coordinating their M&A efforts. She was previously the Director of Business Development at Austin Ventures, Texas’ largest and most active venture fund. Zaz earned her MBA and MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Texas
Rachel is responsible for leading Dropoff’s marketing and communications efforts. Prior to Dropoff, Rachel was Sr. Director of Marketing for Fandango, the nation’s leading moviegoer destination. During her tenure at Fandango, she led the company’s brand strategy, co-marketing, product marketing, promotions, events, social media and integrated sales & marketing efforts. Prior to joining Fandango, Rachel served as a manager at
Sarah is passionate about people. At Dropoff, she leads everything from recruiting the best talent to fostering an exceptional culture to support our employees. She has years of experience in recruiting, human resources, and culture development. Sarah started her career as an intern in the Office of Media Affairs at the White House. She continued to fuel her 'people passion' while working as a news desk assistant at a television station in Houston before transitioning into human resources & recruiting. Most recently, Sarah was a Regional Recruitment Manager at K&L Gates LLP where she led all recruiting efforts for their Texas offices. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin. In her free time, Sarah enjoys running, trying new restaurants, and listening to live music.
