Dropoff Launches Mobile App for Courier and Same-Day Delivery Clients

Today we announced the launch of our new mobile app. Now it’s easier than ever for our clients to place and track their courier and same-day delivery orders while “on the go.” The app is immediately available for download in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Prior to Dropoff, many of our clients were making due with little or no technology from their delivery providers. Traditional courier operations are often extremely manual, with everything from pickup to delivery details coordinated over the phone or email – or even via fax! –  and with dispatch teams manually routing orders to drivers. Our initial website technology revolutionized the industry, tripling dispatch capacity overnight and adding features such as online ordering, real-time package tracking, confirmations, and signature verifications.

Moving the industry to a modern web-app was a huge step. Having clients now ask for a native mobile app is a real indication of how they are looking at technology as a way to scale their same-day delivery needs. With our new app, our busy clients are now able to better manage their deliveries from anywhere, any time, allowing them to focus on what they do best – run their businesses!
