What does a typical day of delivering look like for you: Well, they all start with a friendly smile! Once I load packages in my car, I start heading to the places on my route, where I get to know new companies, people, and cities. I’m very optimistic and enthusiastic and enjoy discovering new places while I’m delivering packages.
What do you love most about your job: I love that every time we deliver a package, people are so grateful for what we brought to their business or home so quickly. It makes me happy to know that we are helping businesses establish relationships with their customers by delivering their products, paperwork, or whatever it may be. I’m glad that as Dropoff drivers, we are there as a partner to them to help grow their businesses.
What has been your favorite delivery: The most exciting experience I would say was when I delivered a fancy bottle of rosé wine called La Galaxia that is made in Portugal to a Hollywood producer in Beverly Hills.
What’s something that most people don’t know about you: I am very positive and enthusiastic about life. My personal motto is “everything has a solution!” Some don’t know that I have great cooking skills – I love to cook. I also love furniture design and help friends out when they have a problem. I once built a house-shelter for a friend’s two turtles, Hugo and Hemit, and converted another friend’s garage into a music studio.
